Easily the best spot for specialty coffee in all of Algeria! The service was friendly and welcoming, and I also loved that they have unique merch(like beautiful, handmade ceramic espresso mugs). I can't wait to come back on my next visit!
I had an amazing experience at Qahwa the Coffee! Everything was absolutely perfect from the rich, flavorful coffee to the welcoming atmosphere. The aesthetic of the space is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were also incredibly kind and made the experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to the owner, Ines, who greeted us so warmly and made us feel right at home. Her hospitality truly elevated our visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee and a cozy vibe!
Hands down, the best coffee shop experience I’ve had in Algiers in a long time! From the pastries to the coffee, everything was perfect. Amazing service, cozy vibes, and incredible flavors—definitely a new favorite spot!
Don’t miss it Qahwah beautifully blends the free creative spirit of 60s cafés / speakeasies with the flavours of today’s barista culture. The matcha is well done, the pistachio cookie is so good I came back for it twice. I originally stopped to charge my phone and ended up exchanging career tips in global health with other clients, this place seems to enable connections and attract the right crowd to be creative with, the owner herself Ines is a sweetheart who takes the time to chat, Midou and Zak add to the welcoming vibe. 100% a highlight of my stay in Algiers, and see you next time!
The waiter was soo nice also the owner me nd my friends really enjoyed our coffee there + the vibeee iss amazing nd la deco iss perfect 10/10
This was the best matcha I had in Algeria ! Being from Paris and drinking matcha almost everyday I can tell you that at Qahwa the quality of the matcha is good Ps : don’t forget to buy the latte cup, handmade in Algeria
I loved the chailatte it was delicious like the one i used to take in Sweden, loved the decoration and the atmosphere, but unfortunately the place is quite small, consider making it bigger with more on the menu. But I had a really good time, it's extremely clean and the people working there are really friendly .
I can tell the owner really cares and put so much love into it. It’s not as big as I expected but it’s still perfect for introverts or people who don’t want to be bothered. The seats are so comfortable and each one of them has a pillow in case you have back problems like me. At first I wanted to cry because it took me so long to find the place and when I finally made it I didn’t know if it would be worth it or not, but I tried their (hot) matcha latte and it tasted so good?? It’s so delicious you need to get it! I made the waiter re-do the flower three times to make it look perfect and I’m glad he was so nice about it!! I got to meet the owner and she was really nice :) and helped around too! She’s so pretty and kind bdkbdkd ^^ (I was in my homeless outfit and she still talked to me and asked for my opinion) anyways I love this place, the street is very quiet and the people who work there don’t shamelessly stare at you while you eat. So I recommend, just bring money with you. (By the way I love the (lofi?) music they put on. I prefer relaxing music over pop music screaming in my ears so thank you for that.) Update: visited again! Got pistachio cookie for free for publishing a review thanks it made my day!
